Bill Wigley was born and grew up in Del Norte County. His family first purchased property in Del Norte County in the 1950’s and still live in the Kings Valley Road area. A 1975 graduate of Del Norte High School, Bill went on to graduate from California Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1979. Bill began his Real Estate career in 2000 forming one of the top teams in all of California closing nearly 100 transactions per year. During that time, he served as the CEO of Keller Williams Bakersfield, growing the office to 140 agents and winning 4 National Awards. In 2012, Bill became the CEO of Keller Williams Southern Oregon, and grew it’s offices to over 90 agents. Bill is a Keller Williams University Approved Trainer, a Certified DISC Behavior Trainer, and travels and teaches classes around the country. He has taught thousands of agents how to be a better Real Estate Professional, and enjoys feedback from his classes.
Bill returned home in 2014 and purchased Ming Tree Real Estate. He has taken the company from the #3 Real Estate company in early 2014 to #1 within a few months and Ming Tree has held the #1 Position every month since early 2014. He has also created a Property Management company to fill the need for a numerous landlords in our community. Ming Tree Property Management serves both month to month and vacation rental clients since the demand for both are high in Del Norte County.

I have lived in Crescent City since 1951, and have been a real estate agent for over 40 years. My wife Marilyn and I, owned Ming Tree Real Estate from 1984 to 2014, and sold to Bill Wigely Jr., on February 1, 2014. Bill will be a great asset to Ming Tree Real Estate and the community of Crescent City. At 19 years old I got my real estate license as I wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps as a Broker and investor. Because I was attending college out of state, I was only able to sell real estate during the summers which I very much enjoyed. I graduated from college with a double major: Business Administration and Home Economics with an emphasis in Design.
I relocated permanently to San Diego. I worked as an Escrow Assistant for just over 4 years which gave me a huge understanding of the escrow side of a transaction. I was recruited by a Mortgage Broker that I dealt with during my escrow career as they were going to train me to become a loan officer and required me to get my California Real Estate license, which I did. The market changed and they went out of business but I kept my California Real Estate License active. I then worked for a Computer Market Research Company as an Executive Assistant for various VP’s and was Supervised 11 assistants within the Company for 5 years before relocating to back to Brookings, Oregon.
I reactivated my Oregon Real Estate license and have worked at Century 21 Agate Realty as a Broker since 1999 and as a Principal Broker since 2001. After my 1st year back in the business, I started receiving honors as a Top Producer in the office, area and Century 21 regional territory every year since. Since ’01, I have been a Principal Broker and manage the agents in my office daily.
I have been licensed in California since 1994 as a Sales Associate but most active in past 5 years. In past three or four years with number of foreclosures increasing and being the listing agent for the majority of the area foreclosures, I have been a top agent in that market as well.
I am a hard worker and very knowledgeable about the markets I work in which is appreciated by my clients. With my background as an Escrow Asst, Loan Officer Asst and Supervisor, I have a complete understanding of the real estate transaction process and anticipated issues that can arise in a transaction. I am always seeking to educate myself on industry changes, new laws and new technology to make me a better agent.

Lee has been involved in real estate and development throughout her life. Raised in a family of real estate brokers, and always interested in good design and planning, she’s participated as both principal and Project Director of several multi-million dollar resorts and developments all over the west, and even in Thailand.
Along the way, she became a fellow of the Leadership Institute, studying community planning, housing, and land use, as well as more obscure topics like alternative energy, water quality, and the always popular, waste management. She’s currently studying with the New York Institute of Art and Design to help clients with staging and other design issues.
